We stayed in a hotel for 3 nights, since we had tours booked everyday to discover island, did not spend so much time there. But the room was very clean, staff very friendly and helpful. For breakfast it had hot and cold Swedish tables also fruits, some pastry, cereal and yoghurt for sweet tooth. We used inside pool facility, the only inconvenience, I could not find changing rooms (it might be there, but I just couldn't see it and never enquired). Also they have souna facilities which they would get it ready with 30mins notice, so quite energy sustainable hotel. Also, staff was very friendly to keep our luggage for a day after we checked out and went on a tour.

The breakfasts were fine. Different than our breakfasts in Canada, but still good. The room was pleasant but needs upgrading. The carpet was stained and should probably be taken out. The indoor pool was nice, but the staff, especially the gentleman that was on duty during the day was outstanding. I am truly sorry I did not get his name, but he should be commended for his professionalism, attitude, sense of humour and helpfulness. He arranged for our car rental and our taxi to the airport. A huge thank you to him and the other staff that made our stay so fabulous,

Location was excellent - close enough to activities without the traffic and noise of being too close. Our room was spacious and the bed was comfy. The free breakfast was very good quality and quantity. The hotel staff were very accommodating. The free parking was plentiful and much appreciated considering parking downtown is limited - we knew we could park at our hotel and walk to anything we needed in Ponta Delgada within 20 minutes. We did not use the pool or jacuzzi but everything looked clean and well maintained.

Breakfast was good, but it had been mostly one and the same through whole stay Room was comfortable, big enough, with a terrace toward the ocean. Pools both external and internal were clean and well maintained, but probably I had an allergy to one of the chemicals used to keep it clean, so reduced stay at certain moment. Gaming room with many games available from reception ... we used it when the weather was not good.

Hotel is centrally located with very spacious and clean rooms. Towels are plush and soft. Ro ea and slippers provided. Indoor and outdoor pools, saunas (which were very handy in the cold weather) and delicious food. Staff was very attentive, friendly and helpful. Highly recommend to stay there
